WOW!
Okay, so being a part-time sw I have seen many people do foolish things on kingsway(throwing eggs, pennies, yelling insults, paintballs etc), but last night was just plain NUTS!
I was standing a few blocks east of joyce when a blue jeep drove by and started shooting a bb gun or something of that sorts. I was with two other of my gf's when these creeps drove by and fired at least 7 or 8 shots directly at us, one striking my gf in the back. How ridiculous can you be???? She had a hole in her back that was gushing blood and brusing quickly. Did you ever stop to think that maybe this pellet could have taken out an eye or two?!?!
I honestly cannot understand the mentality of some people as you drive by ladies who work outside. Is driving by and shooting things at us or yelling at us, making the situation any better or does it make yourself feel better to belittle someone and hurt them physically with flying objects. This lady is a mother, and all i can say is thank goodness it wasn't more serious .....use your heads people. We are just like you, and I'm sure you would be pissed if people whom you had nothing to do with drove by and did something as awful as that to you. Just because we work outside(which is brave in itself) doesn't mean that we are not deserving of some respect.

WOW! what a rant. That has been bothering me since last night around and I hope that whoever did that nonsense will maybe read this and next time refrain for such childish behaviour. Go to a firing range, practice there.....not on innocent victims.

It would have been better if you had got their license number and reported to the police. The police would have responded quickly and forcefully if you mentioned they waved a gun out the window (conveniently forget the BB part).

I was thinking the same thing buddy but I think the natural reaction would be to protect your eyes and take cover.

Actually hon, I beg to differ...You are better than bottom-feeders like that. Some guys have so little self esteem, they feel manly by hurting women. Some do it physically and some emotionally but it is all abuse and anyone who does that is not a real man.

How is your friend now?

I know it probably happened way too fast, but I really really hope someone got the license plate number.

People don't take BB guns seriously, but they can actually kill people.

I hope your friend recovers quickly.

Not smart as somone else might have got their plate. Obviously not cruisers, just jackoff's thinking "ahhh bunch of hookers, what are they gonna do"

PS: IMO don't stand in groups, puts cruisers off stopping when you all are in a bunch.

Yes, you are right a license plate number would have been great, however I was too busy trying to avoid getting hit. :)

It's funny, when my friends and I used to cruise hooker row, both the Richards on Richards area and the low track area. The funny thing is, we never had the thought of shooting anybody, rather we'd be fighting the drool coming out of our mouths when we started to see the hot chicks.

Not a BB gun. I've taken a few hits from a BB gun when I was a kid, and they don't draw blood - not even when they are supercharged with a good application of WD40. This had to be a full on compressed air rifle or pistol. They can fire a .17 or .22 sized pellet at a hell of a velocity. The law even defines a certain velocity over which they are considered a firearm.

This is serious shit Rebecca, warn your friends to be on special alert and try to get the licence number if they try it again, as they are almost certain to do.
