A person comes into our building, I think it was a guy part way through a sex change ok, he has this little kid in tow,

I just cringe the old fart that I am were supposed to just accept all of these things men now changing to guys, and still have the right to be a father,

its there right its what a struggle with identity or gender issues,

docs are doing this, part of the operations are paid for out of my tax dollars.

I won't pretend to understand it, don't pretend to understand how you can do this four years after you have a little kid or why your even allowed to be with a young child.

I have no understanding of this at all its beyond me,

But what gets me, Im the bad, guy,
he can have a sex change paid for in part by the government have a little kid most likely supported by a crew of therapists.

But because I pay for a women to be with me have sex with me Im bad im immoral, breaking the law in fact.

I don't get it,

what has this world come to,
all this can happen and its all ok you can change to a women if you want and your a guy no problem,
but me stuck in a sex less marriage and I find a women to help me out for some money, and im breaking the law.

im so fucking bad,

I don't get it.

In the big picture I doubt sex changes are a big drain on the taxpayer. Probably a hundredth of a percent of what gets spent on fat people having heart attacks or chain smokers with bad lungs.
I have an employee who is a chain smoker...he absolutely stinks...and he is pissed that he can't get a lung transplant.

Indeed. 7of9, an intolerant old man who fools around on his wife with sp's, posts on a review board for pooners looking for other like minded people for support when he shares his troubles looking for understanding and acceptance....then spouts this intolerant bullshit before understanding what it's like to walk in someone else's shoes. Hey Sevenofnine...maybe before you go and get bent out of shape and shit on people who are dealing with gender assignment issues and getting sexchange operations, therapy etc...why don't you tell your wife what you spend your money on to help you get your 'therapy' sessions, how many times you've gone to see your special lady, why you see her and what you do there. See how that flies...how tolerant do you think she's gonna be with your decision to have these moments with another woman you're paying to see? How do you think you're going to feel when the rest of your family finds out, your kids, relatives, mutual friends, co workers, clients etc find out that you see escorts? Excommunicated, shunned, shamed...not to mention the divorce, financial damage, etc...just how understanding is the loved ones in your world going to be when they find out your secret?

This is what this person who you think is a freak went through when they came out to mom and dad, their friends, etc. This is what this person is dealing with everyday, trying to be on the outside the person that they are on the inside...and running into intolerant assholes like you who make faces, mutter, or who are actually violently expressing their opinion to this person...so go see how well you'll do if you step out of yourself, and make your inner secret known to your family like this person does everyday...see how well the world receives you after you come out to them about your sexual and moral activities, like this person has.

Just saying....

That's a little harsh..... But you're right myselftheother. That too was my initial reaction after reading this ignorant thread. I call it ignorant and not stupid because of the lack of knowledge regarding gender dysphoria that the OP has. I happen to know someone going through GD and is in transition. This person's story would put a lot of ignorant people in an early grave. My suggestion is to do some research 7of 9, then you may have a different opinion.

Been reading 7of9 for years, since he came on...so, with all his issues with his dad, wife, etc, you'd think he'd be a little more open minded when it comes to other people's issues concerning sexuality, identity, etc. Yup. called him intolerant. Never called him stupid. He's not stupid, just uninformed and ignorant of other people's journeys.

He also needs to learn how to compose a simple paragraph. Mofo writes like an idiot!

People are complex... and they struggle with different things. Gender itself is not as concrete a notion as we might think.

Be compassionate and do not judge others who are struggling with things you may not understand. And don't pretend it's about money... it's about accepting that some people are different

Why are you comparing seeing SPs with gender identity disorder? Not even close...

BTW, this thread makes you sound like a whinny little pri_k!

Let's not be too harsh on 7of9...........remember there is a generational difference that has to be taken into account. Not everybody grew up in an era of political correctness, nor is everybody as willing to change their opinion of whatever........tolerance goes both ways.

A person has a right to his/her opinion, everybody else has the right to agree, disagree, think it's stupid or whatever.

I dunno - I know a lot of open-minded old people - who are happy to challenge their own outlook. Sometimes they agree with the changes, sometimes they don't, but the willingness to accept and understand is there.

Previous generations did tend to mock anyone who didn't follow the herd. But I know a lot of older people who realize that is very cruel to those who don't fit.

It does seem like he's trying to make a connection between the 2 also whats a Grouse Grind?
i like it ^ ^ :D

the mountain in the picture is Grouse Mountain, situated on the northern boundary of North Vancouver. Grouse Mountain has a skiing plus restaurant and pub area at the top. the two towers are part of the gondola system for getting people up and down the mountain

under the gondola there is a cleared strip with a trail running up it. this trail is called the Grouse Grind because fitness freaks like to climb the trail regularly and fitness punters like to climb it rarely, but they'll do it once for bragging rights

it's called the grind because it's 2.9km length, 853m elevation gain

every year they have a race to the top. the current record for the race was set in 2009 by west vancouver's sebastian salas in a staggering time of 25min 24sec

what's not clear? surely you've heard Peter MacKay saying he's after "the perpetrators, the perverts, the pimps". And you confirmed grouse grinders are major perverts.
No he is leaving the grouse grinders alone, its been discovered that Peter Mckay is a closet grinder.
