The NDP got handed government with just under a 300 million surplus.....they have already announced over a BILLION in new spending as well as tax increases but the writing is on the wall.....tax and spend MORE.By the time the spring budget rolls around you will see the cronyism has been kicked into high gear....not long before that skank Tzepporah Berman gets handed a choice high paying dog fuck do nothing bureaucratic job as well of more of her ilk.
Long story short BC had a surplus and is headed into DEBT.

Last time I check the ballot before putting an X in the circle, I never saw a Green/NDP coaltion, so they shouldn't be permitted to create an effective "new party" after the fact.

Yeah that is just a fucking kick in the teeth to the taxpayer.No tax payer dollars should be paid to ANY political party....dont care if it is the Lieberals or the NDP or the Green or even the Rhino party(if they still exist) if Politcal parties want to fund their proverbial war chests they should be getting that money from the grassroots members that support them.Harper did get rid of the vote subsidy on the Federal level and of course the Lieberals and NDP were screaming about it(mostly because wacknut left wingers are fucking cheap) and thusly the Lieberals and the NDP would come up short with regards to money for a hustings.

& if the ndp keep spending we are going to be back up shit creek in no time & we can't head to Alberta now cause it's already fucked
All the government workers should try working outside the government social well being & see what it's really like in the world, then maybe they would think twice about who they vote for

I remember it quite well.....no decent paying jobs and a Provincial Government under the NDP that was with scandal after scandal.The NDP went through Harcourt/Clark/Sihota as leader and they were ALL crooks who feathered their own nests first chance they got.You would think the citizens of BC would remember that and actually they kind of did as the NDP did not get elected to govern....the Lieberals did and then the NDP and the Greens HIJACKED government with a coalition that was NOT on the ballot.
An important sector such as the Elk Valley coal mines that produce Coking Coal which is one of the 2 KEY ingredients for steel production?Well the NDP under Notley shut that industry down in Alberta with her fucking Carbon Tax.A price of $80 per ton was levied on Coking Coal.Considering the spot market price was less than $50 a ton at the time with no bright prospects for it to hit $300 a ton like it did in 2008 all industry folded and went out of business.Makes so much sense to put a punitive tax on one of the 2 things NEEDED to create WIND turbines...that being Coking Coal....the other being Iron Ore.Wind turbines are made from steel and the only way you can make steel is in a foundry with Coking Coal and Iron Ore....you cant have unicorns fart on Iron Ore to melt it...nor can you have warm fuzzy thoughts about saving the environment do it either.Seems utterly stupid to me to put a CARBON TAX on a commodity that is not used for electricity production via coal fired power plants(the feedstock for those is Thermal Coal) and say it is to save the planet from Climate Change(which is a sham) is a fucking joke.
Lots of decent high paying Jobs are the direct result of the operation and ongoing production of the Elk Valley mines run by Teck Resources in south eastern BC and I sure as hell hope the new NDP government does not get them in the crosshairs for the sake of "Climate Change"...if they do....keep an eye on Teck Resources stock and by it when it hits bottom and then hold it until this latest filthy Socialist Enviro Nutjob Coalition get kicked to the gutter where it belongs.
British Columbians did not VOTE for this current government....they got SADDLED with it.

Why let details and the truth get in the way of a good rant? Glen Clark didn't go to jail because he wasn't guilty. The only thing he was guilty of was making some political blunders, but he didn't do anything criminal.
