well, I finally laughed during SNL! Alec Baldwin doing Tony Bennett
with 'Antonio Bennettellio' (Tony himself) as a 'guest' was hilarious ...
mainly seeing the incredulous looks on his face as Baldwin hammed it up:

best line:

Baldwin: "maybe you can open for me sometime"
Bennett: "really!?!?!"
Baldwin: "Don't hold your breath!"


was also really impressed with sexy-funk number that Christina Aguillara
did ...

also funny to see Steve Martin, Martin Short and Sir Paul McCartney ...

I don't watch SNL anymore, so I didn't catch his recent appearance. Whenever I see Alec in anything I catch help thinking about his Schweddy balls. I thought that skit was hilarious.

I agree - that was my favorite line from the skit. Christina almost looked intimidated by Bennett but then again the guy's a legend.

It was funny because Tony really didn't seem to expecting
the 'skit' that Baldwin was doing ... I thought Tony was
gonna break up laughing any minute.

And yeah, who wants to get on stage with a legend and make
a mess of it? He really is one of the few 'legends' left and its
amazing that he can still do what he does with class and style.

We should make him an honourary perbert!

I watched SNL this weekend for the first time since the mid-90s. I switched it off after 5 minutes.
