Smokers need not apply

How about drinkers, how many lost days a year from someone who drinks. Staying home or coming in late because of a hangover. How about woman with children at home, how many days lost because they stay at home when their kids are sick. The list could be endless if the insurance companies get their way.

drinkers -- a big area of contention because of the idiotic 'disease concept' that protected a lot of drunks for a long time ...

women with kids is a whole other issue, because like it or not, KIDS ARE OUR MOST IMPORTANT RESOURCE!!!

and i'm not sure what insurance companies have to do with someone staying home with their kids???

I know it has to do with insurance companies but the women thing was more of a comment about discrimination in general.
