urban myths is a site that checks the validity of this sort of thing and they have declared this one to be fact. i only used this link as it was the only one i could get to work
I saw something like this on a TV show called V (Visitors), its sci-fi and on netflix, awesome show if anyone likes aliens and sci-fi and stuff! Anyways the characters wanted to destroy evidence in an apartment, so they got a bowl and filled it with lysol or drano not too sure, some tin foil and popped it in the microwave and ran out, and boom! I didn't know if it was actually possible though.
well apparently it is and youth everywhere are leaving these bottle bombs out for the unsuspecting public. i have mixed feelings about this kind of media warning . what was likely one kid and a few instances will now have copy cats globally . why they feel the need to explain how these harmless looking bombs are so easily made, would it not just be better to warn the public not to move or touch any water bottles in the affected areas
