Signal or Telegram?

Does it make sense to use either of these two messaging apps to contact the SPs? As per your experience how many girls are on either of these two platforms? I don’t want to use the regular cellphone messaging app for the contacts and especially for the privacy/security reasons, neither the Whatsapp.

What you guys’ opinion and advise?

Thanks...

Most ladies have very specific requirements for contact.
Respecting their preferences goes a long way.

The man said it, and since I have a badge, I'ma sing praises and say it louder.

Be a big boy. Make good choices. Don't ask sex workers to use a bespoke app to talk to you because you think you're extra special and require separate security protocols. You're on a forum that went live just minutes before Mama Dawson's first piano recital, so you're not actually that concerned about privacy.

Woody, take a high five and a blowie (not in that order).

I wish more ladies used Signal. It integrates seamlessly with regular SMS apps but opens up the option for encryption for people like myself who is anal about security and privacy.

Pay them to? Pay them to.
Respecting clients' privacy by using apps that enhances this without having to spend more than 5 minutes downloading an app is about professionalism. One can also instantly verify if a number is masked or app-based, can have messages self-destruct and can have read notifications.

But hey, I should pay people for a win-win situation and turn it into a lose-win.

Ahhh, misunderstanding here--sex work isn't anonymous, it's confidential. If you think that there's a risk that I'm going to out you or leave my phone unlocked somewhere for anyone to find, then maybe we aren't a good fit. It's more likely that you're a client who's left your location services on and your wife pulls the "Find My iPhone" deets and busts you. Or you leave your very well sealed and encrypted burner phone in the glove box and she finds it while looking for a chapstick. But if you get busted, I promise it's not because I know your phone number and I decided that blowing up your life (and mine) would be a fun afternoon.

And maybe I don't tell you about what I do on my side to protect my clients (because they're wonderful humans and I love them very much and) because talking about security measures is like casing your own joint and posting that on vBulletin for everyone to see and scheme against.

But what would I know. I just work here. Who are you again? ;)

Encryption has nothing to do with confidentiality. I don't care about confidentiality. I care about security and privacy.

I have seen phone hacking ruin careers of colleagues and powerful people. This is above having your phone being found by a S/O. Which if you do, you're a fucking retard anyway. But this kills two birds with one stone.

Encryption doesn't prevent any threat that requires someone to have physical access to the unlocked device. If I can access your unlocked phone, I will be able to read any messages, whether it's encrypted or not.

End to end encryption prevents eavesdropping. Systems sitting between you and the person you're speaking to won't have access to the clear text message, and hence will have no clue what you're talking about.

But not MitM attacks or Trojans or "this fun app will keep you happy on your commute" but you gave it access to your messages and gallery. But if Signal gets hacked, that should be fine...
