ok so I just made myself a huge mug of coffee... and I have no idea how I just did this.. but I went to get the sugar bowl.. and it was empty.. so I grabbed a bag of "sugar" from the top shelf filled up the jar.. and then put a few large tea spoons into my mug... took a huge sip and then spat it out all over the kitchen floor.. It wasn't sugar it was salt !!!!!! has any one else ever done this before.... Its too bad the salt and sugar bags look so much alike lol.. as I wipe the dribbles of my chin ****

I've done the same thing!!! The worse was I was using my last tea bag.. ugh!

Why the hell would they make the salt bags the same as sugar all of a sudden? That's an accident just waiting to happen, if you ask me!

I'll stick to the familiar salt "box" from now on, thank you very much! I like my tea sweeeeet!

That was my favorite "April Fool's" joke on my parents when I was growing up. I would replace the sugar with salt in the sugar bowl and they woud put the salt in their coffee and spit it out all over the floor.
As the years went by I always did the same trick and they always fell for it(I think they were trying to humour me )
It does taste like crap for sure

Worse yet...I remember in my irresponsible days, I was crashing on a buddies couch piss drunk & had that early morning mouth raunch. Went to the fridge & proceeded to guzzle down a carton of milk 2 months past it's expiry. Yummmm lumpy, oozing sour milk!

I did that too

and on april fools day...and I would switch the coffee mate and flour... worked every year.... those salt bags really should be a different colour that the sugar bags.. !!! to my defence.. the salt bag was inside a zip lock bag.. and it was kinda torn apart.. so I just saw the white.. thought about the cafine.. and went right to it.. !!!!


SO LETS HERE THEM I NEED A FEW GOOD LAUGHS AS I PLAy DOCTOR,, AND CLEAN THE HOUSE !!!!!! GIVE ME ALL THE WORST THINGS U HAVE EVEN EATEN OR DRANK By MISTAKE..... lumpy milk I've done that one... honey hame gone far past the due date I gobbled down once.. ate half a sandwich.. before I even tasted it !!!!.... once I was making gravy for something and had a cup close by.. and istead of grabbing the cup I grabbed the glass of cornstarch and back a bunch of it......... before I knew what that chilly pepper stuff was a an italian place, I thought it was like pepper or something I did not know it was hot.. well that hot... i COVERED my pasta took a huge bite and cried in the restaurant.... lol oh the though of all the things I have mistakenly swallowed !!!!

Can't even tease you for making a bonehead move! This is a common, and quite distasteful, mistake! Were you nervous taking that first sip of the 'correct' coffee? I become tentative as if I made the same mistake again and don't quite trust myself. It's even funnier because I bet you triple-checked that it was sugar this time before adding it -- Right?!

hahaha been there, done that. Only once, thank God! lol

The only other thing I've done that comes close is mistaken which side of the pepper lid i opened - it was one of those 2-flap lids where one side was for shaking out the contents and the other side was for pouring/scooping out large quantities. Anyhow, i flipped open one side and didn't check to see which one it was and proceeded to empty 1/3 of an almost full pepper container onto my eggs.

Some teas taste better with honey - and its better for you too. BUT I am puzzled...I thought the sweeter you are the less you need sugar...And in both Tianna's case and Miss Bijou's... gosh they are both so sweet that a little salt is in order....hmmmm sweat just came to mind

A close friend of mine told me how her significant other tried to impress her by cooking eggs benedict for her. Apparently one of the ingredients (the oil?) was kept in a cupboard in a plain jar besides another one containing dishwashing liquid.

I did it once to an unsuspecting friend. My roommate had a 1 gallon pail of what I assumed was sugar (why would anybody have that much salt?) and I filled up the sugar bowl with it. I was able to convince my friend it was "NOT MY FAULT".

Not sure I want to admit this, but when I was a lot younger I ate some cat food!!!

Not sure I want to admit this, but when I was a lot younger I ate some cat food!!!
