I was flipping through one of the flyers from The Brick and saw something of interest. So i phoned them up and asked if they had the item in stock. Yes i was assured its in stock.

So off to the Brick i go. I found a sales person and asked about the item in question. Oh yes we have that right over here. After a thorough inspection i said 'good i'll take it.'

We went up to the sales kiosk and he punched in some numbers and then stated the item won't be in until October 12th. I said i was told over the phone that you have the item in stock which means it should be here. Well he replied we have the item here but its not in stock. I said then you don't have the item here then do you? Yes he replied you saw it. Ya but i can't buy it can i? Yes you can buy it and we'll ship it to you when it arrives or you can pick it up. Arrhehggggg!!!!

I don't know if he didn't get it or i didn't get it. I was told the item was in stock and it wasn't. It didn't matter if the item was there to view because i couldn't buy the item. Okay i could buy the item i just couldn't bring it home right away. I didn't want to come back, or have it delivered at a later date. Sheesh i need an aspirin. The whole thing is kinda funny now. --- Kev

I tell ya bro the service of the stores today has totally gone to shit in a hand basket.

I just came from the Home depot trying to buy a simple furnace filter. I see the 3paks are all gone, soz I think maybe some are in the back and not put out. Seemed like everyobody I asked was like "I'm not sure this isn't my department"

I felt like kicking each one of them in the ass and telling them well get the fuk back in your own department. Finally when I find someone; all she ends up saying is "if you don't see them we're all out"

At that point I wasn't about to ask if you have any belts for funraces. I fuk the whole thing and head over to Crappy Tire like I should have done in the first place.

That was not the first time I've deduced The Home Depot to be usless as tits on a door.

Brick sux. period. Bad product/tactics. "Do not pay interest for ..." oh but if you opt for that plan you can pay more via our "administration fee". Luckily they've never had anything I've been interested in...read the fine print tho

I would stay away from the Brick big time!!

I heard a few years back a family member of mine bought a washer and dryer from the Brick and opted for it to be delivered within a few days. The item did come but it was definitely a much cheaper and crappier version of the brand they had bought in the first place. They phoned up the Brick and the salesperson continued to argue that it was the same item in the store.

Stay away from these people!
