For personal reasons i wanna change my ip every so often. Just curious if anyone on this board know how with shaw cable

Shaw identifies you with a customer id string:
Return-path: <xxxxxxxx@shaw.ca>
Received: from xxxxxxxx.prod.shaw.ca
(xxxxxxxx.xxx.prod.shaw.ca [10.0.141.183]) by l-daemon

The Return-path is only for your shaw mail. The Received: from identifies your account with shaw. This is based on the serial number of your modem. You can change modems if you are having connection problems. Shaw will usually have you try connecting direct to your cable entry point and if you still can't connect, you just take the modem up to them and they give you another. That will change the shaw id.
Of course if you have your computer name set to your name, a nickname or whatever, this will be all for naught.

Nah i dont use multiple handles in here & there's no point to. Even after i did the dine and dash i used the same handle. People where slamming me in here. There's this free offer online and i wanted to get it more than once. That's why i want a new ip each time

Use a proxy, it masks your ip. Unless you're really up to bad enough shit (like terrorism or selling arms?) you get Interpol involved, then they can even go after the foreign proxy (say in Zaire) and try to match the logs with your Shaw IP.
