escorted... arranged travel to Brazil
I lived in Brazil for a few years before having to return to Canada.
I had always thought of arranging a perb tour there- but then thought it would not fly cause of logistics and $$ and then the "who's pete" concerns..
Here's my quick and easy thoughts. If you are interested, let me know - and I can take this one step further.
I speak portuguese but am Canadian, and know of some of the fun places in Sao Paulo and Rio and in between having been there a few times.
Various ways to play there and each one is unique - from the advertised boites, to the saunas to the clubs.
I'd be interested in participating in a canadian made Perb tour there - work on scheduling activities, accommodations and briefing everyone etc. Group discounts work well, and if there is enough interest - perhaps a 10 day trip in March would be in order??
Before you ask why March, - here's the reason - it is "quieter" as all the spent energy of Carnaval has passed, (Carnaval can be too exhiliarating for foreigners - translating into non-safety), hotel rooms are catering to travellers, and as it is quieter, business is readily available... and it gives us time to notify the bosses and SO's about the business conferences.
The costs are not that expensive when you are there. Airfare is about $1400 starting to get you there- and then hotels can vary depending on location and preferences (3 -5 stars) and of course, as the other person listed some of the agencies there- costs are only about US$55 per hour but then, there you can have the entire night for a few $ more... definitely worth the vacation. While there - costs per day are very nominal, depending upon shopping, company and the likes. Chances are you'll fall in love in the first few days and you will have a few live-in girlfriends to provide you with some insights into the local scenes.
And besides, there are so many other places to receive hospitiality. You would forget about the AMPs here.
Food, drinks and atmosphere! Ola Brasil..
