I was sitting at the bar in the new Cactus Club restaurant in Yaletown on Sat. night. The last game of the reg. season. A big game for all.
After about a half hour these three beautiful ladies stroll in and stand there drinking and chatting. They appeared to be out on a girls night out thing. I was only within viewing distance, I could not hear their discussion.
So, I decision was too be made.
Do I forgo the game and make a try at one of these 3 very good lookin babes or stay and watch the game?
My love life is in the dumps right now, and from what I could tell from afar these girls may be available.
So, what to do. I thought about buying them a around of drinks, but thought the better of that , well it was a very crowed bar and I did not want problems.
As it turned out, the girls were waiting for a table to eat at and disappeared before i could do anything, so I just watched the game and got drunk instead. OOOOHHHHH to think of what might have happened.
I don't know, They looked great Maybe I should have taken a shot. It was fun to think about what I would say to them. What kind of an opening line would one use?

I am far from an expert in "pick up" lines and such dates ... but as my long term memory is still intact ... I almost always failed to get a gal at a bar ... very successful at buying the drinks and getting drunk ... but to go home with either her telephone number or with her ... nope. Sometimes your imagination can be more entertaining than reality ... (this almost sounds like a cry for help, lol)

When it's girls night out, it's considered bad form to leave the group for long or bring a lone male to the table.
