Some interesting tidbits from today's article:
There is a lack of understanding of the sexuality of those with disabilities. (They are just as horny as anyone else).
There are agencies out there that cater specifically to the disabled (e.g. http://www.sensualsolutions.ca).
The sexuality of those with mental disabilities is even less understood than those with physical disabilities.
Best line from the article: "'Well, what do you do when you have sex? We take off our clothes, we ask each other how we're doing, chat about whatever. Then we f--k and feel relaxed,' [Nico of Sensual Solutions] said. 'One person asked me to clip his toenails after sex. Intimacy is different for everyone.'"
That sounded a lot like my last session with an SP...minus the toenail part.
