I've have always, even as a virgin, appreciated sex as an intellectual topic of discussion. I find it so facinating. I love to learn about all different types of sex, fetishes, how things vary culturally, what kind of super freaky stuff the Japanese or Germans or whoevers are doing now. Even if it's nothing I would ever have any interest in trying in real life, I still think it's crazy cool. My parents have always been super progressive so when my horny little self would run out of my bedroom playing with myself instead of "OMG disgusting! Don't do that!" I got told that's something private that you do in your room when no ones looking (obviously I didn't take that advice lol). When I was in the second grade I was nearly suspended for explaining to another little girl that a stork wasn't bringing her baby brother, and where it actually came from. My mom had to come down to the school and argue that they ca t suspend me as I wasn't being vulgar or sexual, just scientifically accurate. I used to steal my moms cosmos and read them in secret. When I got older I would go to the library and just type "sex" into the search engine and see what books they would have on the subject. Interestingly enough, maybe because I totally over saturated my brain with sex, it was never a big exciting taboo for me and as much as I wanted to try it I didn't actual,y lose my virginity until I was 17. When I moved to Manhattan when I was 20, I made sure to live wishing blocks of the Sex Museum in Fufth Ave. I absolutely loved it and saw every single exhibit, sometimes twice. There are two exhibits I remember most clearly. One was on sex in Asian culture, from the beginning of the concubines to the modern POV Mangas (interesting to see a giant penis co ing up from the bottom if the page as if it were really you... The other was animal mating rituals which I wasn't sure if it would be weird to view such an exhibit. Did you know gazelles will sometimes mount each other in 3's, having a "3some"? Also that in baby giant pandas the males and females are always segregated from each other until it's time to mate? Then the keepers show the males "panda porn" which essentially shows pandas mating and let's the make know what they're supposed to do once they're released to the females? Crazy stuff and totally fascinating. (I never could have imagined that just 4 years later I'd be hosting an event there with Ron Jeremy and Sunny Lane... Score!) that was the same thing that lead me to this industry. Curiosity. Same thing with the ranch. I'd never worked in a brothel before (and won't again) and was curious. I love to explore and annalyze different types of sex and the people that enjoy them. Now I read as many new articles as I can, go to trade shows and whatever else possible to expand my education in my chosen field, just like anybody else would. I think that's why I've lasted in this industry so long... My curiosity about sex will never cease, because no matter who you are, you'll never know it all. That's why I'm so mosey with all my questioning posts on this board. Honest and sincere thirst for more knowledge on my favorite subject.
