Seven men ranging from 27 to 68 years of age were arrested for Obtaining Sexual Services for Consideration. No information on where. Were the parlors hit or were they streetwalkers? You don't see streetwalkers anymore, I think they are all online? So where / how did the arrests happen? Be careful out there!
Lol no doubt can't wait for a catastrophic flood or tornado in Winnipeg. This way policia can rescue everyone in Winnipeg yay!!

CTV news has a very vague very brief bit.
"Seven men were arrested after a sweep focusing on known areas of prostitution.
Police say they arrested seven men on Friday for allegedly obtaining sexual services for consideration. The men ranged in age from 27 to 68. They were released on undertakings.
In a media release, police say several people working in the sex trade were offered community resources.
None of the charges have been tested in court."

Back in February there was a very similar episode, where WPS rounded up exactly seven men as well, similar age range.

Comes across as a biennial WPS performance to virtue signal the media and the politicians they are doing something.
Marriages potentially ruined, kids in broken homes, lives put under great stress, large amounts of money paid to lawyers, and are we any safer? Is our community any safer? Are our wonderful providers any safer? Is anyone safer as a result of this? More harm caused than lives protected in my humble opinion

Have you seen the “Canadian Centre for Child Protection” office on Academy by Kenaston?
The rescue industry is very profitable.
If this involved obtaining the sexual services of kids then of course those men deserve to be arrested and have the full force of the law delivered on them. But that’s not what the article said and I doubt that this operation involved those soliciting children or vulnerable people. If it did then I applaud them for it. But I doubt it.

Beverly Hills. In the Kitchen eatin' vittles.
Does anyone know if any of the parlors were impacted by this? They have several ladies on the board but they have all been quiet on this topic.
I would doubt very much if any parlours were involved. This was likely guys cruising for SW’s (who the hell does that anymore?). Hense the part about offering community services.
1) Parlours no longer require a license issued by the city so the police would have no right without a warrant to enter.
2) Prostitution is not illegal. Buying sex is. To bust a John you need evidence that he was buying. That would require cooperation from the MP. That would be business suicide if it ever got out that a parlour was ratting out customers.
IMHO, probably the safest options, in terms of avoiding getting busted are well reviewed reliable ladies or visiting MP’s.
Cheers
