There are many jobs that are classed as self -employed MayKay , Avon, online sales , plus some sales jobs, therapists , and even some commission sales jobs, maid service .. But I do think that escort is some time what they do .. and escorts do use many of the dating sites ..

I was referring to the topic - Plentyoffish. The OP is suggesting that any girl calling herself "self employed" on POF is an escort. My point is in reference to the fact that many girls on POF think you are a drug dealer if you list yourself as "self employed." Either way, it is an over generalization.

Over-generalization might not be the best term. More of an assumption with a negative connotation whenever they see the term "self employed."
