Correction you can, you have to be on the balcony looking over towards the Woodward way. You can see it but its limited compare to the False Creek direction. She allowed me to take a video of the view which was nice. Overall she still have a nice view from her condo. Also she is facing North/East not South/East. Mountains are North of her place which you see.

Her building is built north-south with her side facing eastward and suites across the hallway facing westward. Her unit gives a panoramic view anywhere from the north shore mountains like Mt. Seymour to the left to the Mt. Baker - Snoqualmie Mountains to the right with east end of False Creek, Science World, Metrotown and out in the Valley straight ahead.

Your right, I was just there today, I asked her if I could go on her balcony for a second to check something, she laughed at me and said, your not going to jump right.... I said no, someone and I are debating the view, We're both right. She can see ocean and mountains but its limited compare to False creek, Burnaby, Her view ends round Woodwards building a little bit west. If there wasn't many tall building, the view would've been better.
