Just wondering if any girls or men have had any trouble with the security guards in their buildings or buildings they have been visiting? Mine always looks at me wierd, and even asked a client after he was buzzed in and waiting for the elevator what he was doing there??? I am pretty sure they can keep track of what apartment the person is buzzing is going to. Can they do anything about this??

Security guards and concierges are humans too, and therefore you cannot generalize. Some are uptight and report everything they think may be not 100% kosher while others are cool as long as nobody is creating a disturbance.

Smile a lot and buy him a box of chocolates and thank him for all of his help - in other words just suck up to the guy - it often works.

Never had a problem with mine, but I make an effort to be as discreet as possible, often letting my clients in through alternate entrances so as not to catch anyone's attention.

If you've got a parade of strange men coming through the lobby at all hours of the night, it's going to be pretty obvious. Concierge/security have seen it all, and they are not stupid.

Try buzzing your clients into the parking garage and meeting them down there instead ;)

Actually, some of the graveyard shift guys are green as grass and pretty dim bulbs to boot. For them, mention the name of your head concierge and tell the graveyard guy you will tell [NAME OF HEAD CONCIERGE] what a good job he is doing.
