Seattle's King County Sheriff's Deputy Physically Assaults a 15-year-Old Girl

The girl was picked up with another 15 year old girl, driving at 3:45AM in what had been reported as a stolen car. It was subsequently determined the car belonged to the girls parents. Both girls were fingerprinted and transported to holding cells. After being escorted into the cell, the girl was told to remove her sneakers.

what happened here, is unacceptable, and I assume said officers will be dealt with accordingly...

He'll probably try to claim she assaulted him with her shoe as an act of aggression, but it'd be a long shot at best because there is no way anyone would think that the way she flung her shoe would hurt those two. The way they reacted to her "aggression" was completely disproportional and there was absolutely no need to punch her in the back of the head once she was on the ground and had surrendered.

Too true. Her move was classic teenager, imo, flinging her shoe like that. This guy has no clue about the difference between aggressive acts and typical teenager acts. I tell ya, if a big guy like that, not alone either, feels intimidated by a skinny young girl he's got serious problems.

someone took it as me trying to "bait" you. however i'd like to think that we've moved on. to be honest you do bring up some good points although what seems to be (perhaps my perception) of your sometimes unflinching support of police at times gives me chills.
