It would be a shame if the Pittsburgh Penguins leave Pittsburgh, but having a team in Seattle would be great as the new Sonics owner wants an NHL franchise to share a new arena with the Sonics if they can build one. It would be an instant rival for the Canucks. Also Kansas City, Houston, Winnipeg, Hamilton, Indianapolis, Portland Ore, Hartford, and Salt Lake City seem to be intrested, if the team moves to either Seattle, or Portland then the Detroit Red Wings would almost be certain to move to the Eastern Conference where they belong. Seattle would be an intresting NHL Market, as it is the 2nd largest city without an NHL Franchise, Houston being #1
