Seattle Hotels

I will be going to Seattle at the last week of May for two baseball games.
I am on my own. I am looking for a fairly good hotel downtown.
Middle of the road and just above that. Around $150-$200 a night.
I figure I don't do this much, so why not spend a little more.

Also, I don't think I need a passport. I will be either busing it or taking the train.
Just need good ID I think.

The baseball tickets are already waiting for me. Red Sox and Mariners!!!

You won't get much of a room right downtown for that price. If you are willing to stay just outside of downtown there are lots of hotels that will do quite nicely.

If you use hotwire.com or priceline.com you can get some really good deals or put in a bid for what you want to spend.

I would suggest one of the MArriotts around Southcentre Mall. There is a Marriotts Residence Inn, Springhill, etc. Its a convenient 5-10 min to the stadium and breakfast and internet is free. There is an indoor pool too. It doesn't usually cost more than $150.

For a little more than that, Hotel 1000 is a very nice boutique hotel with a great location.

I loved the Pan Pacific, I believe that was just under $200 a night and was walking distance to everything.

executive pacific is usually pretty cheap. older hotel, but nice rooms, reno'd, very comfortable.
Next door to the W so there is a hoppin lounge.

Just came back from Seattle this past weekend and stayed at the Sheraton. Good location downtown, close to lots of shopping. Paid $192 a night for king size bed, non smoking, 33rd floor club floor, included evening appy's 5-8 and continental breakfast 6:30-10:30, free local calls and high speed internet.

Everything is walking distance when you stay downtown, both staduims, pike market, space needle etc etc.

Double check about the ID requirements. They keep delaying changes to land and sea requirements.

Check with Customs, but I think that you DO need a passport.

DL and birth certificate works fine.
Only need a passport to fly into the states
