Well considering that they won the last Super Bowl, good luck with finding one on the cheap. The ticket is now an investment to the highest bidder as seen on stubhub.Hello all. Please help me as I have always wanted to go to a game in Seattle so if anyone has a ticket at a reasonable price please contact me. Thank you
A few things completely messed up in your post. First, she was essentially demanding you give her thousands of dollars to date her? I hope you dumped her. The NFC Championship game was worth 2500 per ticket for seats like those. Any woman who says gimme 5 grand or we are through is worthy of an EPIC dumping.
Second, if you think the Seahawks will win 3 of the next 5, sorry you are dreaming, will never happen, for a hundred reasons. The league has too many top teams and the core of the Seahawks is going to get very expensive to keep together, just look at the money they just gave Sherman.
For the OP, there will be a ton of cheap tickets out there, if you like preseason games. The two home games are always very cheap, as they give them to the season ticket holders for free. The Chargers game in particular should be an easy score. The regular season games against the Raiders and the Giants should also be cheaper to get, on CL or other venues.
Wait, you gave her both tickets to the games? You didn't even go with her? Who did she go with?As the saying goes, "Two things turn smart men into dum-dums: Sports, and when courting desirable women."
Now, her requests are for Terrace Club Seats for Mariners games at Safeco Field!
Still, it's a short-term loss, potential long-term gain!
Thanks!
Respectfully,
Timmy
Her ex, but they are "just friends" now.Wait, you gave her both tickets to the games? You didn't even go with her? Who did she go with?
Well. I hope the OP at least got some bum sex out of it. Bum sex without a condom, post-enema and after they get the appropriate STI screenings of course. Her ex, but they are "just friends" now.
Well, in that case you didn't really give anything up then right?@BORKO She went with my Mom.
My Mom had two tix to both home games.
Timmy.
Did they end up getting along and enjoying the Seahawks game? Who are their favoritest players? In a sense, yes.
Although, despite having 3 siblings (albeit, they're all married and have children), and I am not married nor have any children, I'M the one who was slated to get those tickets and go with my Mom. My girlfriend said that she "wanted to get to know my Mom better" by going on two trips to Seattle with her, and I thought to myself, You know, for a potential long-term relationship, that's actually a good investment on MY part, for my Mom to get a feel for what kind of person she is!
I caved in, because of her "sniffles" and "near-crying." I confess to that.
But, my MOM manipulated me and my siblings (putting guilt trips on us for not-so-horrendous things, and making us feel terrible) when we were younger, so SHE can't really intervene too much when her son gets potentially manipulated (up to a certain point).
I'm just too confident in the Seahawks, I think it's a certainty that I'll have many more NFC Title Games to attend.
Timmy.

And is your girlfriend in some way similar to your mom then? Since you're saying that they are both good at manipulating you?
Why thank you, unfortunately my football knowledge is remedial at best. And you have some great pictures in a Canucks sweater !
I kinda joked that this girl might marry me, after I buy her, her Mom and Dad, and her older brother Seahawks season tickets! Or, her Dad and brother golf clubs.
But, letting my Mom get to know her better, I thought was a good "investment." Expensive tickets, and a huge sacrifice but could be very beneficial for the "long run" and "big picture"
