Screening Clients

Question for providers and/or clients, what is usually involved in a screening process? Is it a request for provider references? Is it a request for personal information?

Is it to ensure the provider doesn't know the client outside of session work? To ensure there's some way to trace who they are in case the client turns out to be a scumbag?

I've never undergone screening and am curious in case I ever attempt to see a provider that requires it.

hey duneek, i think most ladies who require that is just worried some random person who might waste their time. so having a reference from a reputable provider is going to reduce their risk of wasting time. but personally, I wouldn't give too much personal info. I've heard people who would send their drive license and stuff, 100% no go for me. just give the best answers to the lady, it shouldn't be too much problem.

I think the top priority of screening is for the provider's safety. They probably want to make sure you aren't violent and aren't a thief.
If you can give references from one or two reputable providers, you shouldn't need to provide other personal info.

Screening ensures that you are a reliable client who is clean and respectful. We usually ask for a reference from another provider who has seen you and can vouch that you're a good client

For me, screening is a step to make sure a clean mature client would be committed to the 'date' that strengthen the basis of mutual trust, and meanwhile guarantee sps time is never being wasted and their safety is being protected from any kind of 'immature' behavior.

1. a deposit to cover any possible last minute no-shows
2. Two established provider references (to alleviate any concerns about violence) OR proof of ID (to scare the client from doing anything fucked up to me, because if he does I could report/find him; or if he kills me the info is on my phone)

It seems like there are different levels of established providers. I've only been with one provider who is well established in the sense that they have a large social media presence but have regularly visited others who only advertise on Leolist. I'm not sure they would even remember my name or have my number saved.

Make sure you ask your provider for consent before giving out her contact for reference check. That way you can confirm that she actually remembers you and get a read on whether she'll provide a positive reference.

over 90% of clients I see come back, so most I develop a longer-term relationship with.
I keep the conversations with everyone I see and save the contacts as something that will trigger my memory.
