dakota, I'm interested in the same thing except I need the whole post done. I have been told by different people that often times when you recarpet the post the cat loses interest because it smells foreign to them. Partly because their scent is gone from it combined with that new carpet smell. This would suck as my post is close to 6ft tall and has a lot of structure to it so the expense of recovering it would be considerable. Let me know if you come up with anything.
