I CAN NOT stand the screeching in women's curling....in all curling now for that matter....
And when curling became an Olympic sport...... WTF....I mean really.....they have snacks at halftime....or whatever they call it in curling
....maybe it was a sport back when they used really bristle brooms and sweeping was a skill and art to watch.
Now it's done with those infomercial lint remover brooms .

Hmm I suggest you take a closer look...BC's Dailene Siverston, Manitoba's Kaitlyn Lawes, New Brunswicks Jill & Jodie, all of the Ontario team!... do I need to go on.I enjoy watching curling (crazy, I know - I like the strategy); but disappointed with the relative lack of 'hotties at the Scotties' this year.
Jennifer Jones is there, and she is a cutie; but not too many other babes hurrying hard out there

I don't know...I curl now and even with the synthetic brooms, you still need to sweep like a motherf*cker at times.
Then again, I curl with a bunch of old men and I'm the only one really sweeping

...well pardner, maybe they're not yelling about your broom, maybe they're yelling about something else!
seriously, usually their aim is worse if they throw harder, so they throw light, and presumably more accurately, and the sweepers have to get the rock into position
