Okay... some more information, as it appears that Amazon has been clamping down on self-published erotica in their Kindle Direct Pubilshing programme.
There is a small book out that explains how to get around their acceptability rules.

I haven't downloaded it... yet... but any one considering publishing erotica should probably explore Amazon's content guidelines. Clearly they continue to publish erotica, so it is a question of know how to do it within the rules.
