They send a booking inquiry with an ID and a link to a phishing website that will look like Tryst. When you click on it, it’ll ask you to login. Beware and don't insert your login&password in it.

wow! i'm sure many people could fall for this. it's particularly interesting how these scammers get better by the day. i think theres a lot of loopholes with sites like LL and tryst so better to be safe than sorry.

note, i do open links i get in DMs myself because i don't think everyone is a bad actor. some people are genuinely trying to make a sale or something and if everyone would be overly sensitive about that they would be hypocrites. but i agree that you should have some safeguards in place to counteract these situations. getting scammed is painful indeed.
