Against my better judgment I decided to try some 'online' fun. Sent the cash via e-transfer, got the email confirming they received it, and then they pretended like they never did. When I sent them a screenshot of the email with the confirmation that they did, they called me an idiot and ignored me.

I should know because I use one lol. Google the number and it should tell you the carrier and if it's not one of the major carriers it's a text app.
