How long has this petition been up? There are under 100 signatures. I suggest that if you really want to save St. Pauls, give them a call and suggest that they do something to make the public more aware that this petition even exists.

What's wrong with moving it to False Creek? That's quite close
to where it is right now, although i'd probably prefer the present
location. But why go to all the expense of moving it, anyway?

Way to late......to save St. Pauls.....

Not that I don't value St. Pauls but, it's way too late to save it!!! FYI, Providence Health Care (owner/ operator of St Pauls as well as several other localized hospitals) purchased a new site adjacent to the train station near Main and Terminal 2 or 3 years ago. I believe the official plan is to build a new hospital on that site, which consolidates several of their operations as well as providing new modern facilities and equipment for patients.

As for the Burrard street site......HeMadeMeDolt......said it best......it is one of the most sought after and ideally located (real estate lingo) condo or mixed use sights on the downtown penisula.....Developers have been actively pursuing this site for years now......................
