Anyone know the pros and cons of Star Choice vs Bell Expressvu? Why did you choose the system you have and are you happy with the one you have?

i went star choice ...

price was a little cheaper ... program selection a little better ... installation within a week rather than 'when we get there' ...

cost to get going was about $100 (equipment and install) but I also got $50 in free movies and my first month free ...

but i could have gone the other way just as easily.

i still dont get how you would be getting bev programming. They have cloned the 101 rom cards, but bell dosent use those so they cant be made to work.

your right all but ppvs and porn...dishnetwork wide open with card sharing that I have been beta testing....bell porn and ppvs will be added soon.

the thing with cloning is that once dish gets ahold of the sub thats being cloned, say bye bye to everything. they need a dump of the card to make it more stable
