Satellite Question

decided to go the star choice route and got most of the channels but not the movie stuff ... now i'm wondering why this is supposed to be better than cable? is there a different package that i should have gotten or what's the deal?

i do like the better picture and sound quality which seems to be WAY better than what i got with cable ... but having 5 versions of the cbc, and ch and ctv and so on is just stupid.

what I miss???

time shifting

Even though satellite systems can lose signal in a big storm, the fact that they allow you view a given show at multiple time zones is great, especially if there are two on at the same time. If you have a PVR you can record one and watch another as well.

You can watch ER 3 hours ahead of time and tell your GF what happens just to piss her off.
