Detroit got pretty banged up, in a way that would be a nice opponent.
But the Sharks nice. They are maybe the only team in the west, thats had the bad luck, early playoff exits........chokes!
More than the Canucks. I am calling it now. A FIRST timer will hold the cup this year.

Too bad the Nucks will not play the 3 amigos in June- Stamkos, St Louis, and Lecavlier. The Sharks in 6 as Louie has a bunch of melt downs.

The Sharks boast 8 top 6 forwards in their lineup although their defense is a little thin IMO. Niemi is so bloody inconsistent, too. However, Niemi has one thing Luongo does not and that's a Cup ring. With the Sedin's non-existent so far, it will be tough for Kesler to continue to carry the offensive load and check either Joe Thornton or Ryan Clowe's lines. The Canucks will also have a tough time dealing with the physicality of the Sharks forwards.

I expressed a theory regarding the Sharks today. I think that they almost looked past the Kings and Red Wings because this is the match up they wanted because they need to prove to themselves how good they actually are. I think the Sharks are ready for the Canucks and a short series turnaround won't bother them. I don't know who will win this series yet but it should go at least 6 games.

The San Francisco Giants made history in the MLB last year. The Vancouver Canucks will make history in the NHL on Vancouver's 125th Birthday.

Go Canucks!!!! :) :)

if they play like they played nashville with half the lineup asleep they will be swept by the sharks in 4. keep in mind kesler will be shadowing thornton so his offence will probably go back to like it was against the hawks when he shadowed toews. someone else will have to score. something tells me our europeans won't be upto the task of standing up to a hard nosed canadian filled team. in other words, the sedins, edler, ehrhoff will fold to the likes of heatley, thornton, marleau, couture, setigucci, and of course the man looking for revenge kyle wellwood.

I'm expecting the Sedins to step it up, they had Sharks number all year as well.
Keith, then Webber isn't the best matchup for them. Boyle is the big icetime guy in SJ. He really doesn't bring the same skillset. I agree Keslers numbers will fall off, he didn't need to focus on checking as much last series.
The Canucks need to hit the Sharks D any chance they get. Even make it a dirty series.
Canucks are better off with 6 power plays a game, with 6 kills, than 2 of each.

Happily Ever After!
Orcas eat Sharks - despite the fact that Shark skin causes accelerated wear on their teeth - just saying

Love it! Hoping to get to Game 5, 6 or 7. There is no sweeping in Round 3. Playing with the creme of the crop now. Getting down to the nitty, gritty.

I will be behind Luongo flashing me boobies anytime the sharks even look at the puck. Once a red mile girl. Always a red mile girl.

If Luongo plays his best [no more soft goals], and the twins produce Canucks will win. We have more depth on the D and we beat them 3 times in the regular season
If Luongo melts down Sedin continue to stumble, we're toast. SJ has firepower

If Luongo has a melt down, no fear, Vigneault will switch to Cory. He has already done it once and will do it again if called apon

This is really the Stanley Cup final as whoever wins this series will walk over the eastern winner.

Statitically, the Canucks have the advantage
Vancouver beat SJ 3 times, they're PP in the playoffs is 22% Sj is 13%, PK is 86% SJ is 83%, Luongo has a better save pct and better GAA than Niemi,
It might take 7 but I think we'll win, just hope my heart [or liver] doesn't pack it in along the way

My thoughts, exactly! It's been exciting thus far, and can only get moreso,.
