same building - convenient or off-limits?

There are a couple of girls that "work" in my apartment building. They advertise publicly including photos. One even posts here on Perb. I am sure they work (not sure about live) in the apartment building (a downtown skyscraper) I live in.

So, the question is does this make them off limits to call or convenient? There is not doubt that if I did "see" her that we would bump into each other in the elevator at some point. Because it happens quite often now.

What do you think? I am single so it is not an issue to me. But I can see how it might be uncomfortable for her. I would never say anything beyond the "hi, have a nice day" that is exchanged now.

I say convenient, but IMO you should contact the girls first to see how they feel about it. Chances are if they just work there and don't live there, they'll probably be fine with it, but you never know. The last thing you want to do is freak them out, so definitely get their opinion first.

I worked with this girl at an agency who went in for a "pick" only to come face to face with her landlord. Well, all was good he had seen her a few times at the incall until he crossed the line when he would call her at home from his suite upstairs and ask her up for a little fun...for free.

I would say it depends on your sense of self control. If it's too convenient, you could be declaring personal bankruptcy pretty soon.

Well it could be a little of both, the way I see it is if you know she's working in your apartment, people around her place might know it too, think of all the guys she has coming and going, people for the most part aren't dumb. These are people you have to deal with day to day... I would be more worried about the people who see me walking into her apartment and leaving in an hour then seeing them, later on. I think it would be awkward lol... But I guess theres not to many people really hanging around the halls of apartments keeping track, so it's a toss up.
