This thread had my thinking about our complex.
I live in a 9 unit complex and one couple is Bulgarian, another is Russian, two guys married Filipino women, one women married a Mexican guy, I married a Czech woman, and we have two Filipino couples on top of that. That's 8 units and one is vacant..so it's a pretty international complex.
I have a really positive view of Eastern European women because I lived in Toronto in the late 90's during the Eastern European invasion. GORGEOUS Russian, Ukranianan and Belarus escorts who raised the level of service in the city and changed the industry there.

Trust me after being married to an Eastern European woman for over 17 years, it no picnic, but they are loyal, hardworking and trustworthy. I'll give them that.

A documentary film produced in Vancouver called 'Love Translated' deals with the subject of Russian lover/bride (it follows a group of selected clients of one such web site to Russian (or another country I cannot recall). If they were looking for love, they'd be looking inside Russia. A Russian man would know what a Russian woman expects from him. She doesn't have to give up her family to be with him because he's already in Russia. She doesn't have to give up her career or her education by living in another country. She can make Russian food that he would appreciate eating, but no foreigner would care for. She can have children that grow up and speak Russian, and know their grandparents. The only reason why an educated woman would go exclusively outside her country to look for a mate is because she wants a better lifestyle - ie: MONEY.
Face the facts folks. Life is not always so rosy and not everyone has the purest of intentions. For many, money plays a big role in love.
What about Latinas?100% true.... Russian and Asian women are the last remnants of true women out there. They act like, dress like, and KNOW they are women. There is none of this gender confusion you see here. Consequently, a lot of them behave like desperate women (gold digging) during desperate times (poverty). I certainly don't look down on them for it because its only the ones that want or have to and not everyone, but we love them all; and in some cases as often as possible.

I still remember being shocked at how beautiful the women were especially in Ukraine and Russia. I, like many, had this preconception of the heavy set old Baba's and Babushka's being what most Russian women looked like.
Man was I wrong. Beautiful features, long shapely legs and there was something about their eyes that drove me wild.
As well, these were and still are very patriarchal societies for the most part so the women know how to use their sexuality to get what they want. They dress and act very much like women. You would never see a middle aged woman in pants and even the young ladies wore either very tight, form fitting jeans or slacks or short skirts and high heels. Unlike so many Western women, you'd never see a woman in the grocery store in sweatpants.
The one other thing I did learn was that most of those gals sure could drink. It was nothing to sit down and start drinking Vodka and pretty soon I'd be seeing double while they were still going strong.
I'm not sure about now because I've been out of that line of work for years and have lost touch with all my old contacts but when I was there, things were still pretty bad economically and it was amazing waht you could get for a some chocolate and a pair of jeans or nylons.
I remember walking down the street in Kiev a day after I arrived the first time and seeing this lady directing traffic. Gorgeous figure, tight form fitting pencil skirt cut just above the knee, a well tailored uniform shirt and her blond hair in a bun under her military style hat. She was even wearing high heels. At first I didn't think she was a police woman because I couldn't imagine seeing a woman cop in North America dressed like that but after a few days and seeing others, I realized this is how they dress. I'm not sure how they chase down bad guys in that outfit but then again who the hell would run away from them.
Oh well, I guess I'll just have to continue praying that our Szexy Hungarian Princess Szabina may come visit me one day.
