Just curious, how do you know it's true?

But.

"Stand you up" connotes that you arrived at the specified time at the specified location, and she did not respond. (Ghosting is another, more accurate term)

Cancelling same day is no where near that issue. Her actually reaching out to you to cancel is not "standing you up". It may be "leaving you unfulfilled" or "dissatisfied", but it is not standing you up, which has a severely different meaning and can tarnish a SP's reputation (as you obviously were intending.

There are myriad reasons an SP cancels day of. From personal/family emergencies, to health issues (having a cold, flu or worse, or the Red Tide), even something as simple as not sleeping well so she doesn't think she can perform to her expected level.

I know you were hot to go, and had set aside the time and money for this special encounter, and got left hanging. But I am betting that you have, at some time, had to cancel plans "day of". And would not have been happy if you were forced to go through with those plans.
