The ticket prices have fluctuated way down from what they were a couple of days ago most now are between $220-$340 range. They were upwards of $400 when I last checked, guess the sales at that price were limited and people are reluctant to pay. The fluctuations really are geared to what someone will pay, in this case waiting can pay off.

Sort of like a silent auction to sell off the primo seats to those who really want them.

I’ve done a bit of searching to see where this new pricing format originated from and can’t find very much. One Bruno Mars concert back east had a lot of pissed off fans paying through the nose for tickets. Ticketmaster pushed it off onto the artist but Mars camp never replied. Only time I recall prices like these was when the 3 Tenors sang at BC Place. Eventually the sponsor has to drop prices to get bums in the seats.

To think I had a front row seat at the second stage for a Stones concert at Tacoma Dome for $90 USD. Glad I saw them and didn’t feel I was screwed buying a ticket.

I hear you, I read somewhere that it’s to deny the Scalpers and the Bots that buy huge swaths of tickets to resell at the gouge prices. In some ways I’d rather see the inflated prices revert to the artists than then the con men who run the bot sites. Doubt that’s how it will work the fix is in for Ticketmaster who will pay themselves first but the Stones are shrewd when it comes to their own interests. The London School of economics degree has paid of huge for Mick over the years.

Why would anyone want to see them now anyways? What kind of show can they put on when they are either in or one step away from using walkers or wheelchairs to get around on stage. They are all around 80 fucking years old. How is Keith Richard still alive with all that shit running through his veins? Their vocal cords probably rusted a decade ago.

Stay at home and watch some Youtube viideos of their concerts back when they could actually perform instead and save your money.

They can still put bands 1/3 their age to shame, look how many years they’ve had to practice and Mick is a workout fanatic he can still prance around the stage and scream at the top of his lungs as good as anyone. Those wiry hard drinking chain smokin little Brits are tough little shits!

Yes was checking today and the prices on Ticketmaster are like that. It is outrageous that Ticketmaster can do this. Interestingly tickets are cheaper on some real scalping sites like:vividseats ($145 USD+) https://www.vividseats.com/concerts...ing-stones-bc-place-stadium-5-12-3429089.htmlticketsonsale ($150 USD+) https://ticketsonsale.com/tickets/2739/3429089stubhub ($175 CAD+) https://www.stubhub.ca/the-rolling-...ium-5-12-2020/event/104580176/?sort=price+ascIt is all messed up. Upper bowl tickets face value is $80 CAD. The RATM tickets I bought were via their site and then forwarded to ticketleader https://ticketleader.evenue.net/cgi...tCode=GS:TKTLDR:COL20:0501RATM:&linkID=tktldrThey are not using Ticketmaster.
How else are they getting tickets if they're not using ticketmaster unless the tickets are fake? Just checking the floor seats quoted in USD are over $530 each and up.

I have no idea to be honest. I was just searching for the tickets online. I think tickets on vividseats and stubhub should be real. But you never know. These are scalper sites.

Anyway, not buying at these ridiculous prices anywhere. The face value of nosebleeding tickets is about $80 CAD. But they were never available to general public for anywhere close that price.

I doubt at these prices they will sell out the dome. Still lots of good seats lower and upper bowl to be had. General admission on the field $156. I’m assuming these are standing only tickets. I’ve seen the Stones three times and don’t need a fourth.

I decided to get Roger Waters and Dave Matthews Band tickets. Two seats for two concerts $800 approx. Lower bowl in Rogers Arena.

Saw the Stones tickets from ticketmaster as low as $146 today, they are dropping back to affordability that’s good to see. People aren’t as insane as I thought after all.

Really? Man, ageism sure is rampant in the rock world. You don't see comments like that in the world of jazz, classical, world music etc. Never ceases to amaze me. We should all be in as good a shape as Mick when we are in our mid 70s. Don't see him in a walker or wheelchair anytime soon.

If they still love what they are doing and have such an amazing catalogue of music to play, why not keep going? Are you the arbiter re what time someone should retire from their profession? All power to them I say. Enough with the snide ageist remarks people. Whether you are a musician, painter, dentist, lawyer whatever, if you are still good at your job and love what you are doing, keep on going. I love my work and am in my early 60s and have no plans to stop anytime soon.

Rock on Mick and the boys.

I myself would not pay that kind of money to see the rolling stones....Pink Floyd maybe if they did another tour.Last concert I went to was when DLR reuinited with Van Halen and it was a damn good show.Have passed on Def Leppard several times because when it comes down to it they now just plain SUCK.The lead singer cannot hit the high notes and the lead guitarist cant manage the chops so they just crank up the base to drown it out not to mention they have only ever hired cut rate shitty opening acts so as to reap as much cashola as they can.

I would have to agree with your assessment . Afterall, what is a Fan, and what lengths will they go to enjoy anything they're passionate about .

I hope I still have the mobility of any Stones member at their age ! Something to strive for .

Roger Waters is in Vancouver in September. I’ve seen him multiple times and his band is awesome. Chances of the Gilmore led Floyd are slim to none.

Or see Brit Floyd. Incredible cover band of all the Floyd albums.

Yeah sadly that is the case.I highly doubt David Gilmore will do another tour.Should have seen the PULSE concert in Vancouver when I had the chance.I have seen the Australian Pink Floyd Show and it was good and I did enjoy it.

I wont pay good money to see Roger Waters as I think he is far less talented compared to David Gilmore.I consider him the asshole of the breakup and after he left Pink Floyd the band actually did a lot better and produced better songs.

Just my toonies worth....I say a toonies worth as .02 dont buy jack shit these days.

North American tour is cancelled.
Technically it's been postponed, but if the virus problem persists, it may very well get cancelled due to band members dying of old age! :D

Still... looking forward to a rescheduled show!

Saw Pink Floyd , The Divison Bell tour . Epic is the only word to describe it. David Gilmour is Pink Floyds true front man in my humble opinion. Never been huge fan of Roger Waters outside of original Pink Floyd line up.
The DLR / Van Halen reunion tour was amazing . That's when Wolfgang joined the tour. Fuckimg Awesome show. Don't think we will see them again in that form. Unfortunately Dave just doesn't sing like he used to.

Saw the Stones in Seattle on the early leg of the tour. Nosebleeds were $300 each I recall and the sound was so bad you couldn't really tell what song they were singing. BC Place will be just as bad. Was a bucket list for me, but if I had a mulligan, I'd have seen three girls and bought another concert DVD or two. I like the concerts bands do in iMax. No dickheads standing in the way, and you can see and hear and the sound is awesome.

BC‘s premier indicated the Province will not permit any conventions, concerts or mass gathering larger than 50 people to proceed until there is a vaccine found for the covid, there’s mass vaccination and known community immunity. So I don’t see any large concerts happening here anytime soon given these new requirements yet the Rolling Stones concert hasn’t been officially cancelled which would allow for an automatic refund from Ticketmaster. They did quietly post on my account that they would consider offering a refund but it might take up to 30 days for that to be processed and I’m sure they did that after being threatened with a possible lawsuit and action by legislators down in the US.

Has anyone else tried to get a refund back from them because my 30 days have passed and I’ve have yet to hear from them on where my refund is and it certainly hasn’t shown up a credit on my visa account. If the Stones do tour anytime soon it might happen in the US because they want to open things up a lot sooner, it’s ridiculous what Ticketmaster and or the promoters are doing for tickets purchases here in Vancouver
