I am sorry about your loss, jojo. She is a well-known scammer in these boards with threads made about her in the past; it is a shame you did not see the reviews before-hand.

I saw the post about this happening more because it's slow just how much has it slowed down in Vic? I could be wrong but like 5 years ago it seemed there was so much out there both Indy and agency now not so much. I know my seeing sp's has dropped by about 99% but I wasn't sure if it was that slow or what

I have heard from friends of mine in Vic that escort agencies have noticed a steep reduction in clients

right here and now
Hey guys, just wanted to let you know that this girl : http://victoria.backpage.com/FemaleEscorts/new-picswanna-get-wild-and-naughty-tonightandlt3/8990121 pulled the old cash grab yesterday.

I went with her in a cab to an atm, I gave her the money there. When we got to my house I got out, she slammed the door and told the cab driver to leave.
Better watch out.
J-fucking-C buddy- the pictures alone should have been enough to make you leary of this little tart. Handing over cash at an ATM? Really?
And taking her to YOUR OWN HOUSE? You should consider yourself lucky she didn't actually come in, case the joint and rob you blind to top off your day.
Sorry you got burned- I don't wish that on anyone- but FFS- what were you thinking?

Yup! very lucky... I think it maybe time for someone to expose her identity on public shaming sites.

With the new legislation that prosecutes clients but not SP, you cannot do anything because if you file a complaint you will be the one charged for soliciting/purchasing sexual services not her. So the new legislation encourage such girls to rob clients.

It's really unfortunate that robbing is still going on , especially with these new boards which we are all to familiar with , where clients inform one another of such actions such as robbery ... as confusing as the new law may be , it's your right to report any robbery ... Robbery is robbery no matter the circumstances , that's my understanding ... the industry will take a huge nose dive if our clients believe that the new bill enables sp's to rob them .. I'm sure you can be creative in your talks if you were to report such actions that were done to you , for example late night fun at bar perhaps? Just an example , understandably it's a tough spot to b in but Weeding out those who resort to robbery as apposed to a service will allow for the industry to survive and flourish...

seems like both parties here are at fault. communicating for the purpose of prostitution in a public place (cab?)
still, I would go to the authorities and at least talk about this.
Just doing a google search on her phone number turns up some ad on used victoria

You can report it but you will be charged for communicating for the purpose of obtaining sexual services for consideration. And yes the new legislation definitely enables sex workers to rob clients

With the new legislation not only communicating in public is an offense but communicating anywhere, so any attempt to purchase sex is an offense

Yep, if this type of brhaviour keeps up, pretty soon all these escorts will end up going underground and drive the agencies into the ground. Well, that is the whole purpose of the new laws? I guess?

I was wondering if the best way to challenge this law by a client, would be the scenario of a client robbed by a girl and then charged with communicating to purchase sex when he filed a complaint.

You never ever give her the money before you get inside your place or hers!
And even then there is no guarantee the little prick won't bail on you
