RIP Bill Walsh

One of the all time greats in coaching passed away, he created the West Coast Offence and won 3 SuperBowls with San Francisco 49ers, and took a chance and drafted Joe Montana and Jerry Rice, and traded for Steve Young, he will be sorley missed by the NFL.

Those 49er teams were the best teams in history, I think....you think of all the weapons they had, both offensively and defensively.

Walsh was a genius, and a first-class human being on and off the field.

I have always been a New York Giants fan, and I will admit that Bill Walsh was definitely one of the best coaches the league has ever seen. Outstanding knowledge of the game, great eye for talent and a genuine class-act. He will be missed. Even if he was a Giant-Killer.
