Honestly, good for her. I saw her while she was still somewhat new at AF and her rate there was obviously a bargain: she is a straight up porn star. I think she thought going the independent route was too much hassle but obviously she's worked something out.

The girls set their own rates. We suggested to her to raise it several times but she refused. We don't take percentages and it makes no difference to us what the rate is. Each girl decides for herself.

Thanks for the response, I definitely just assumed there'd be a percentage. Also, no offense intended, I meant just in general an agency will have you work more for less with not much control over your clientele compared to independent work.
No worries. While most agencies do charge a percentage, we do not. We charge a flat and reasonable room fee ($70 for any ladies reading this), which includes all of her supplies, photoshoot, and booking/marketing. Girls are free to set whatever client rate and services they choose.
There are a lot of reasons why a girl would choose working with us over independently:
1) When you are off, you're off. You don't need to spend your day and night answering messages. A model can easily get 100 inquiries in a day. We have phone girls that handle the bookings for you and organize it into a schedule.
2) You can control your own schedule just like being independent. We even provide app access so they can book rooms at their convenience which ties directly into the website calendar and status.
3) Our block list. Being that we handle the bookings for many girls and for many years, we have a large naughty list. If you start out on your own, you don't know which clients are good or bad and you have to figure that out for yourself. Should one client get blocked, he's blocked for everyone, so in that respect there is safety in numbers.
4) You don't need to rent a space. We have rooms available pretty much whenever ready to go and fully stocked with supplies. If you don't get an appointment, there is no fee. If you do it yourself that often means renting a place for that purpose. Otherwise, a girl may be inviting clients into their home and for safety reasons, it's best to keep things separated from your personal life.
5) Our clients... we're busy. Without even so much as an ad on leo, a girl could be fully booked daily (ymmv, really depends on the girl). No advertising costs. Further to that, the subscription value from our clients signing up to the girls only-fans can be substantial.
6) Safety. Instead of working alone, we pair girls up together whenever possible. We also have check-in and check-out procedures. The girls will be checked on in person if they miss a check-in/out.
Being independent has a lot of costs and work associated with it and a one-girl show is not easy. In short, agencies can offer safety, convenience, and in many cases better revenue than trying to do everything yourself. Of course, each girl chooses what is right for her. There are definitely some predatory practices out there, but we work hard to steer far away from that.
