Ricky Williams of the Miami Dolphins retire's @ only age 27. This guy could of been one of the greatest running back's of alltime at least in the top 10 when he was done, he plays only 5 season's 3 with the New Orleans Saints who picked him 1st Overall in the NFL College Draft in 1999 and the last 2 with Miami. Ricky said money is not everthing to him and said if he become dirt poor he wouldn't care because that's how he started. He also plans on going back to school and wants to concentrate on being a photographer. He made like 4 million playing for Miami and like 10 with Nike. This gut isn't even in his prime yet and he calls it quit's. I'm a St. Louis Rams fan but if I was a Dolphins fan I would kiss this seson goodbye.

What I don't like is the fact that he waited until a week before training camp to retire. Now the Dolphins missed out on Eddie George and anybody else. They built their offence around the running game. I think he just didn't want to deal with his recent drug problems and decided to go to Asia where he can poon and do drugs anonymously.

Ricky Williams was thinking about this for months and finally made up his mind in the last few weeks. The Miami Dolphins without Ricky Williams plain suck, he was their whole offence, he got like 25 or 26 carries a game, and with Fiedler and Brain Griese as their quarterback they will finish last in offence in the NFL this coming season. Zach Thomas is hurt on defence and Jayson Taylor can't do everything on defence by himself no matter how great he is.

Poor Wannstedt (sp?) he had to have a great year to save his job.....no such luck now. I thought RW had great talent but just to flaky....what a waste of talent. I'm a Raider fan not a Phin fan but man it sucks to be Miami this year.

Oakland will do good this year considering they brought in Warren Sapp from Tampa to help their terrible defence last season, and Kerry Collins from the Giants to compete for the starting QB position with Rich Gannon.

I think they'll be ok Brown and Rice can't hang on forever so hopefully they'll do something......Gannon better be on cause Collins has the arm to stretch that field in a Norv Turner offence.....so we shall see.

The Rams without the Warner distraction should be interesting too.

Marc Bulger should have another Pro Bowl year this coming season as, if Marshall Faulk is healthy and Issac Bruce can play better there is no excuse for the St. Louis Rams to NOT only finish 1st in the NFC West but win the Super Bowl this season.

The Bears did a great job by hiring Lovie Smith away from St. Louis to be their head coach. I don't know about their QB situation, Kordell Stewart didn't get the job done last season so there are ??? marks around that position, and you've got to wonder if the Bears don't improve soon how long Brian Urlacher is going to want to stay there.
