I'm just curious to see how people felt about reviving old threads? There's some obvious ones like the PERB handle thread that should never die, but what about threads in general?

The reason I ask is because I was thinking about reviving an old thread but wanted to see what the PERB community thought first.

An old thread to one person might be much needed information to another.

By all means. If you think the thread is of value, likely someone else will too. :)

Being able to bring an old thread to the forefront is one of the cool things about this board. On another local board if a thread goes off the bottom of the page it just stays there (not lost, just unseen), never to come to the forefront again.

Congratulations to Fred Zed for his choice of server software. :D :D

Personally I hate it when I "view new posts", and see something interesting only to find out it's something I have already read, except for some inane new comment. If it is something new and exciting that adds a new spin to it then ok. But I voted no.

At the "Y"
Back to Hardatworks original theme here, I voted yes. Not everybody get a chance to get in here each day, let alone all day, so sometimes when you're catching up on the threads you have a comment or observation to add. If we don't bring old threads up to the top of the pile once in a while, then this becomes more a chatgroup for the hardcore regulars, then a discussion group for all. My tuppence.
