Hi All,

I think it would be helpful if SPs that advertise had review data attached to them. Meaning when you browse most online shopping websites, the product in question will have a rating of 1 to 5 stars and how many reviews it has.

Wouldn't this cut down on the scammers?

Of course the reviewer could be a shill but that would be pretty easy to spot.

Thoughts?

On LL, you can't link out to anything within your description. Some people screenshot their reviews and post them as one of their pictures, but you only get so many of those.

I used to have a few links in mine as "p3rb.cc/..." but it just caused more headaches with punters complaining that "the link is broken/it doesn't go anywhere when I put it in the browser" and "it says I need to make an account to read your reviews." You can't even put "perb" in a LL ad, which is a shame because of how flooded the site is with scammers right now.

You're not wrong, Corym.

I don't think an overall 1 to 5 rating system will be effective because as you know every encounter between an SP and a client is different. A clean, considerate person who booked a long session will receive a better service than the smelly guy who booked a 15 min special.

A better way to improve the quality of reviews is to have a standard template with necessary info us clients want to know and then have reviewers fill it in. For example:

SP: other names and numbers she used in the past? where did you find the ad? Agency or independent?
Booking: method used? Prompt responses? what type of session and for how long? Donations and extras?
Location: Car parking available? How close it is to public transit? is it easy to find?
Room: Shower, a/c, clean bed sheets, .. etc
Looks: Are her pics real? recent? rating?
Service: hard restrictions? Soft (ymmv, depending on hygiene and other factors) restrictions? rating? was it rushed?

...and so on

Meaning when you browse most online shopping websites, the product in question will have a rating of 1 to 5 stars and how many reviews it has.
This industry has a few distinctions that make a similar approach more difficult.

  • It is not illegal to buy on amazon.ca, so people are not afraid to rate/review, often under real names.
  • Online shops can have a "verified purchase" mark to give the review more credibility. Cannot do the same when an SP sells service outside of the website (and not really interested to pay a cut per every sale to the website).
  • Buying a doll at a sex shop does not carry a risk she'll restrict or deny services based on the buyer's hygiene, race, etc.
  • Due to subjective ratings and personal nature of the service, SP review sites need more censorship effort to be useful.

But yes, it is a reasonable thinking to apply a working business model to a different industry. Just recently a new company launched their "online shop" for sex services, I don't feel like advertising them.
I don't expect much success for them, in part due to the factors above.
