Just weeded through all the ads in the review section and this is my review of them.

They should be in the advertising section.

They could.
...but they (visiting sp's) are allowed to advertise in the reviews section ;)

I guess you guys will have to write sum reviews, huh? It wouldn't seem half as bad if reviews were appearing at the same rate, or, well... if any were appearing!. :p ;)

So in conclusion.. I think your issue is really with the lack of new reviews more than it is about the advertising. The fact that you are noticing the abundance of ads..... is only as a result of the lack of review related action in here....because the ads have been popping up in this section for a very, very long time.

I`m I missing something about the one ad per visiting SP is allowed.

I have sent a PM to a mod to clarify this.

I have yet to find where it states this in the Other Canada Reviews section.


My issue is reading ads in a review section. It`s called the review section. It`s not the review plus one ad from a travelling SP section.

For example of redundancy.

I'm fine with playing by the rules. I've looked for the rule on the ad posting in the review section.

BCMod is amending the guidelines to deal with this.

If it was posted that one ad is allowed then I wouldn't have made an issue of it. I still disagree with the ads in the review section when there is already an advertising section but if the new 'guideline' states that one ad is allowed I'm fine with that.

I'll just have to poon more to drown out the ads with new reviews.

Good point. And if we all helped out with the pooning, then maybe our SP's would be too busy (and worn out) to post ads!!! ;)

I totally agree with everything Slimshady had to say. There needs to be some strict rules and penaltys laid out for advertising infractions.

Do we really need a visiting SP to make five posts in the review section in a matter of a couple days like this SP who is currently visiting Edmonton?
