Does it have to be close to the track?? Because the one next door to the PNE is fukkin choice for local, I just can't remember the name but it looks classy.
And it's also close to the liquor store and burger king and the freeway soz you can get the hell outta Vancouver in a hurry. And believe me after a night of cruising sometimez I just wann hit the freeway and piss on Vancouver for the night and get back on my side of the water.

don't know the ratings, but:
Rosedale on Robson (its on Hamilton) ... nice rooms, pools, walk everywhere
Lonsdale Quay ... sure its in North Van, but take the Seabus downtown!
Granville Island Hotel ... different decor, and parking is a bitch, but tons to do right outside your door

Yah...yah I was just being stupid, but the hotel itself does not look bad at all....honest. Maybe your picturing something like the 2400 or Brandiz. It's not like that at all. I think it's part of the Best Western or Motel 6 chain.carlotta said:you REALLY miss the boat LOL
