What makes a good SP
Someone posted this in another section of perb (Boythursday) and I thought it would make sense to re-post it here.
"Here's my random thoughts, and you can take them for what they're worth --I am no expert on this topic by any means!
But it occurs to me that aside from the usual laundry list of "attributes" -- which for the most part are relatively obvious and vary little -- the most valuable talent/skill an SP can have is much harder to pin down and involves the more intangible things.
How to describe it? Perhaps as the ability to "read" the personality of her client and adjust her personality, attitude and service to suit.
Is he nervous and inexperienced? Adopting a more soothing, gentle, lead-by-the-hand approach might work better. Is he obviously confident and raring to go? Perhaps the high-energy party-girl-slut persona gets an airing.
But I'd like to say right here that I am NOT talking about "being a good actor" or "faking it" or anything like that. I think it goes deeper than that.
All people behave differently according to who they're around at the time, right? We each have, in a way, multiple personalities or personas, each one of which is tailored to different areas of our lives, is real and genuine and unforced, and often dramatically different from the others.
But most of us aren't too consciously aware of these different sides to ourselves, since we live with them every day and switch smoothly between them all the time without a second thought.
So I think that an SP who can consciously control this aspect of herself, who can tap into the right part of their personality at the right time, is well ahead of the curve. Because after all, the fundamental essence of this business is (on some level at least) the development and fulfilment of a fantasy. And a big, big part of the guy's fantasy lies in the perceived inner life of the beautiful girl in front of him.
That perception is what's important. It is often clouded by multiple factors (everything from Projection to sheer testosterone), but it is still a remarkably sensitive instrument that detects the smallest bit of artifice with ease. And that is why I believe the truly great SPs are probably the ones who don't need to "act" or "fake it", but who can just be. They are the ones who effortlessly delight their clients, they are the ones who are never short of work."

Now in terms of my personal experience, and I have seen Eden and Ingrid, Tiffany provides this type of environment far better than anyone else I've encountered, so I would like to add her to the list of reputable SP's.
