Rent a Room for 1-2 hours

Sorry about the question - wasn’t sure where to post, and wanted to be in Victoria.

A friend of mine and I want to get together - are looking for a place for an hour or two. Any suggestions on where we could get accommodations for a short period of time during the day? I.e. during business hours, probably lunch time?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You might want to try calling one of the agencies, ask if they have a suite, & what they would charge for you to use it for 2 hours. Sometimes they make their suites available to visiting indies, so they might be more accomodating than a hotel...

Your other option with hotels is to book the whole stay, and only use your 1 to 2 hours. Check in after 3 pm and do the deed then leave. You'll be charged for the entire stay but that's that. Most hotels offer express check out options so you don't even have to tell the front desk you are leaving early. Or check in the night before and then head over for an early morning rendezvous. Not the most economical but asking a hotel for a one or two hour reservation will never end well.

Edit: just realized you are asking about business hours. Sorry, my comment is not much help to you unless you try to get an early check in (not guaranteed)
