Honestly OP if you wanna start a parlour you have to have connections. You can't just expect to find out of work mamasans to do all the recruiting. You're gonna have to spearhead all or most of the effort yourself. Either you find mamasans to help recruit or you recruit the talent yourself. And advertising and setup and etc.

You also have to consider the market/competition ratio and be in a community that will tolerate your business. Here in the valley Abbotsford has a few and seems to leave them alone for the most part but Chilliwack puts them out of business. Mission is a wasteland. Surrey used to put the MP’s out of business but seems to tolerate them now. And Langley is wide open for business but there’s lots of competition

I want to go about opening an MP in BC, and i need partners in terms of mamasan who could run that place. How do i reach out to them? Also are mamasan the one who recruit the masseuse? If anyone's interested, happy to discuss this idea more.
My question is what do you bring to the table, and can offer them? Taking on a partner with the capital but no knowledge/experience is a pretty big risk for anyone. Maybe start with working at one of these places as a security or booking staff so you can learn about how the business works first before trying to open up one yourself.

One of my ATFs was looking into opening a place and asked if Id be interested. We talked for a few weeks but I ultimately wasn't interested and she backed away too. Licensing is the biggest issue so look ito what licensing requirements are where you want to open . Just as important, and the thing that turned her off of pursuing this, was issues with staff - namely recruitment and retention. Not really different than any other business. BUT what was different was the flakiness of some of the staff. We looked at the records of the place she was interested in and the staff turned over three times in two years and in that period of time, there were only 11 weeks where every attendant showed up when they said they would. She was well connected, respected and had lots of ladies interested in working with her but she also knew that working with friends is hard and you rarely end up as friends after you work together for awhile.

Then there's financing. You're likely to have issues going to RBC and asking to finance a rub and tug so make sure you have deep pockets.

Those are only a few issues you'll have to address. Good luck.

I've once heard that running an agency/brothel/MP is like herding cats. I haven't heard anything that proves otherwise 😅

My thoughts exactly. Generaly there is an unsavoury element that run or protect these businesses.

woof lots of comments. All I was saying is I wanted to partner with someone who knows this biz. I can provide the capital, I need the profit.
