OHHH the memories
thanks for bringing back some memories. some good, some i would like to forget
(shudders) like pretty much things of the 70's (by the way, thanks for the smurf 3some. lmao, and shannon tweed (yummy) but still liked dorothy stratton better.
and also the pic when pamela anderson was kind of cute and not frankensteins creation.
things from the 70's i would like to forget ,most of all:
pet rocks, mood rings, the gas crisis, patty hearst, those hostages we kept hearing about every night while jimmy was in power. billy beer. just to name a few. and here are some others:
my first comics cost 10 cents. horrorified me when they went to 15 cents.
you could buy sponge toffee for a nickel
jawbreakers and double bubble were 3 for a penny
gas was 52 cents a gallon.
lime flavored pop shoppe pop. tasty stuff

rent for a 2 bedroom apartment was $215 a month
the first vancouver canucks game against LA Kings. and we lost.
chicken man was played on lg73 friday afternoons. "he's everywhere, he's everywhere"
records were $4.98. Damn when they put them up to $5.98. grrrr
And i still have an atari, intellivision and a coleco
(footnote) i watched the a-team on tuesday nights to see what kind of tank they could make with only their hands and a crescent wrench and maybe a screwdriver.
then it was Hunter. works for me
CKVU was on UHF and friday nights they played movies like swedish fly girls and Texas Chainsaw Massacre
Get Smart at 8 pm
Don Kirshners rock concert on friday nights
the ORIGIONAL line up of saturday night live
the twilight zone and the Night stalker and the one with Rod Serling? (i forget the name at the moment), must be the old timers catching up on me
the honeymooners and jackie gleason were on saturday nights. ugh
one tv in a house was the norm. 2 tvs and you were living rich
and my (shudders) worst TV memory:
... don messers jubilee
