As we say goodbye to 2020, I am reminded of the beautiful gifts which it unexpectedly provided.

Often we complain that we don’t have time to do all the things we wish we could. Whether that is reading a book, learning a language, picking up a musical instrument, cooking our own meals, decluttering our place etc.

This year has afforded us an amazing opportunity for self-care, for self improvement, reflection and self love......without the guilt!

It’s given us an opportunity to take a look at what is really important to us, to re-prioritize our lives and to determine what want we really want to do with them.

So often we get caught up in old routines or set in old beliefs systems and we just keep on repeating. Not realizing that these may have served us well in the past, but we have outgrown them.

I feel terrible for the countless people that are going to starve to death because our supply chains have been cut off, all of the poverty that is going to permeate the planet. But for those of us fortunate enough to live in the kinds of countries we do, it’s been an amazing opportunity for Personal growth and self actualization.

It’s been a (hopefully) once in a lifetime opportunity to reassess the foundations of our lives, to work through past trauma and to live mindfully.

May you continue moving forward with better self understanding and awareness, deeper gratitude, more mindfulness and a newfound joy. Not in spite of 2020. But because of it! ??

Wishing you and your loved ones the day is filled with joy, peace, health, love, value creation, appreciation, gratitude and abundance!❤❤

Reflection is a REALLY good practice. Great reminder to count our blessings! Blessings are positive.

I reflect that if I live my life consistent with my values, accept the outcome of all my decisions. and can be honest with myself and others, I don’t need no “self care”. I don’t want to live a life where I feel in deficit day-to-day, and need to make this up with some self-care interventions. Nope, I embrace what I do, and I do it with gusto, which inspires me rather than wearing me down. My energy is boundless, and I choose to amp it up now and again with a little indulgence. But that’s just me. May your self care be healing, if you need it.

Moreover, may your chosen indulgences fill your sails with the wind of a thousand gales.
