So Miss Leesha pops up on Backpage today. I've been waiting to see if she would advertise again because her reviews are excellent. However, she requires (and I'm not faulting her at all for this!) two references for new clients. She has every right to stipulate conditions... This isn't in any way a criticism of her.

However, most of us value anonymity and discretion when it comes to this "hobby." Unless you have a long-term relationship with a SP (and isn't that what girlfriends and wives are for?) how do you get references? How many times do you have to see a girl before you can ask her if she will be a reference? And what are they looking for, "not a creep," "good tipper", "bad date", "not WPG police", etc.

This is common and it's important not to make a big deal of it.
You only have to see a girl once before you can ask for them to be a reference. And you're correct; basically they want to know that you're not a bad date or a trouble-maker - that's all.
You can maintain whatever anonymity you want. If the girl you're asking the reference from knows you as "Randy" of phone number 'xxx-xxxx' that's who they'll communicate about.
Just contact the girl you want a reference from to let her know first. If you were a good customer it's no big deal and the girls should be used to it.
